Personal Introduction:
Andy Stewart was raised in Huntington Beach, where he graduated a four-year varsity letterman in Tennis from Huntington Beach High School. Upon receiving a tennis scholarship, he played NCAA Division I tennis at Fresno State University. Andy earned all WAC First Team Honors. He graduated in 1994 with a BS in Physical Education.
Andrew played on the professional tennis tour from 1994-1998 earnings a singles ATP ranking of #563 and #619 in doubles. He competed in the Australian Open in 1998, losing to future #1 Lleyton Hewitt. With an extensive coaching career prior to MVCC, Andy has coached Alexandra Stevenson and Taylor Dent. He also spent four years at Corona del Mar High School coaching the Girl’s Tennis Team to two CIF Tennis titles.

Bio:
In 1977 Randy opened up a tennis instruction business in Newport Beach and resumed his playing career competing and coaching some of Southern California’s top junior players.
In 1980 he became the owner operator of the “Town and Country Racquet Club” in Costa Mesa and ran a successful tennis instruction and tennis camp business for 8 years. In 1988 Randy became certified by the U.S.P.T.A. and he became Head Professional and Director of Tennis at The Palisades Tennis Club in Costa Mesa and remained there unitl accepting a position as Tennis Professional at Mesa Verde Country Club in 1993.
In 1994 Randy was appointed to the “Head Racquet Sports” advisory staff for his outstanding coaching ability.
