Hole: 12

While this is the shortest hole on the course, architect Billy Bell found another opportunity to aim a tee shot right into the teeth of the prevailing wind. The wind adds one, and sometimes two clubs, to the tee shot. Awaiting a poorly struck tee shot are several hazards. There is a bunker left as well as a cavernous bunker directly in front of the green. A lake runs from the front of the green to the right side of the green. Many a well-struck shot has been batted down by the wind only to find the proverbial 'watery grave' short right. Out-of-bounds is behind and left of the green. The green is sloped, back-to-front and is also quite rolling. The hole yields a fair number of birdies, but they are well-earned.
